We are pleased to announce the appointment of Caitlin Uren as Managing Director, Victoria, as we position the business for its next chapter of growth.

In tandem with this new role, Caitlin will continue her position in our Capital Markets team as Senior Director, Superannuation and Sovereign Capital.

Caitlin brings a wealth of expertise to our Victorian leadership, backed by:
• More than 15 years of commercial property experience across Australia and the UK, spanning valuation, capital markets, and executive leadership
• Over a decade of dedicated tenure within JLL
• Deep, established relationships with Australian superannuation funds, sovereign wealth investors, and major property managers

This institutional perspective, combined with a strong track record of cross-business collaboration positions her perfectly to guide our Victorian clients and teams as the market recovers.

Please join us in thanking Alan and congratulating Caitlin on her appointment.

It takes the right people paying close attention, day in and day out to turn a shopping centre into a thriving asset where people shop and communities meet.

That's what our retail team brings. We combine local expertise with tools like Property Assistant to help you see what's really driving your centre's performance, and where the next opportunity sits.

From the everyday running of your centre to finding the right tenant mix for changing shopper habits, our focus is simple: stronger returns for your retail assets, now and over time.

Cost benchmarks for office fit-outs can vary by up to 40%, and the deciding factor isn't finish quality or location.

It's typology: the strategic configuration of how spaces are distributed to align with actual work patterns. With demand for enclosed, acoustically private spaces accelerating, this early planning decision has never been more critical.

Alana Hannaford, Head of PDS Advisory, explains why getting typology right from the start matters more than ever.

Ten years from now, Northern Sydney could look completely different. We brought together clients and industry leaders to find out how.

Our research director Vivienne Bolla opened with an exclusive look at the data driving Northern Sydney’s next chapter. Then Selina Short, Paul Nicolaou and Eamon Waterford joined Paul Lynch for a panel that painted a picture of a region where education, health, living and AI converge to unlock a new wave of investment. The momentum building today is only the beginning.

Thank you to our speakers and clients for such a sharp discussion, and to Two Good – a social enterprise catering company that supports women rebuilding their lives – for feeding the room.
Northern Sydney’s story is still being written, and we’re glad to be shaping it.

University campuses are undergoing the same transformation that reshaped modern offices. Fixed-tiered lecture theatres are becoming as outdated as cubicle farms, creating an opportunity to reimagine how educational spaces support today's learners.

By applying proven workplace strategies, such as activity-based layouts, flexible spaces, and neurodiversity-focused design, universities can create environments that improve student outcomes and prepare graduates for modern collaborative careers.
