Most people don’t realize real estate valuation is a career—and yet it plays a critical role in nearly every corner of real estate.

Meet Jared Schweitzer, MAI, SRA. He’s been in the appraisal profession for nearly 25 years, joining the Appraisal Institute in 2002 and building a career he never originally planned.

He started right out of college with a finance degree after being hired by an appraiser willing to train someone from the ground up.
