Last month’s Chicago real estate market update from Chicago Association of REALTORS has arrived!

Home sales dipped 2.8% from last year, while the median price jumped 12.9% to $420,000. Homes are selling faster, averaging just 39 days on the market (22% quicker year-over-year). Inventory remains tight, down 24.3%, with only a 2-month supply available. Nationally, home prices hit a record high, and demand stays strong despite limited listings.
