Governor Healey just expanded a program that gives first-time homebuyers up to $25,000 at 0% interest with deferred payment to help cover a down payment or closing costs. You need to lock in a MassHousing mortgage before July 31, 2026 to qualify so the clock is ticking.

This could save eligible buyers up to $31,000 over the life of the loan. That's real money.
