One of the hardest parts of real estate is that sometimes the closing doesn't happen.

Not because someone didn't work hard enough. Not because the buyer didn't want it badly enough. Not because the agents, lenders, title companies, or inspectors didn't do everything they could.

Sometimes deals fall apart.

And when you've spent weeks or months investing your time, your energy, your heart, and your hopes into getting to the finish line, it can be truly devastating.

But I've learned that not every deal that falls apart is a failure. Sometimes it's protection. Sometimes it's timing. Sometimes it's making way for something that ends up being a better fit.

Some kind of divine intervention, maybe?

That doesn't make it less disappointing in the moment, though.

I try to treat every experience as a learning opportunity for me and my clients. We learn, we grow, we keep moving forward. ❤

People don't hire Realtors because they can't find houses. Zillow solved that problem years ago. People hire Realtors because buying and selling houses is emotional.

It's knowing when to walk away.
Knowing when to negotiate.
Knowing when to panic (let's keep that at a minimum).

The houses are easy to find.

Support systems are harder.

Buying a house can be an emotional rollercoaster (for both of us 😂)

One minute we're celebrating because we found the perfect house. The next minute we're stressing over inspections, negotiations, appraisals or deadlines.

There are a lot of emotions wrapped up in buying a home because it's a big decision.

A decision that can be life altering.

No matter what part of the process you're in, I will always give you my honest opinion.

Sometimes that's reassurance. Sometimes it's encouragement. And sometimes it's a blunt conversation about a house, a budget, or a situation that isn't in your best interest.

My job isn't to tell you what you want to hear.

My job is to help you make good decisions and be someone you can count on when things get stressful.

We'll celebrate the highs, work through the lows, and figure it out together because I am always in your corner. 😘
