Born in Matsumoto, Japan, Yayoi Kusama grew up surrounded by her family’s seed fields, where pumpkins became a source of comfort and inspiration from an early age. Over her more than seven-decade career, the pumpkin became one of her most personal symbols, representing stability, warmth, and even a form of self-portraiture, while her signature repetition and polka dots transformed it into something seemingly infinite. (Cincinnati Art Museum⁠) Kusama passed away in Tokyo on August 14, 2026, at the age of 97, making the opportunity to experience All the Eternal Love I Have for the Pumpkins in Cincinnati an especially meaningful celebration of her life and extraordinary legacy. Finished up showings with a buyer tonight 🏡🤍 and I left thinking about a few things I wish every buyer knew going into this process…

- You don’t have to have everything figured out before you start looking at homes. Sometimes seeing a few houses in person is exactly what helps you figure out what you actually want, what you don’t want and what matters most to you.

- And pictures can be deceiving 😂 A house can look AMAZING online and feel completely different the second you walk through the door. That’s why seeing homes in person is such an important part of the process.

- If we walk into a house and know within five minutes that it’s not the one…that’s okay! We learned something, and we’re one step closer to finding the right one.

- Buying a home is a big decision. I never want my clients to feel pressured just to make a sale happen. I care about your life, your circumstances, your family and finding a home that actually makes sense for YOU.

I’m here for all of it. The questions, the showings, the “absolutely not” houses 😂 and eventually, the one that feels like home 🤍🏡
