POV: Saturday morning mom life. I’m trying to get some painting done while “Hulk” is at the top of the stairs having a full meltdown because apparently something has gone terribly wrong before 9am. 😂

Chocolate chip toffee cookies are officially the book club cookie tonight, and I have a feeling there will not be many left by the time we actually start talking about the book. Something about that little bit of toffee that makes them impossible to stop eating.

Today’s was finishing the hallway paint… including the edging, which is my least favorite part of painting and is why I also don’t tape. But one more thing off the list. ✔️

This summer has been a lot, busy in a way that left me counting down the days until routine came back into our house. But before we jump into the calm of drop offs and homework and bedtimes on time, I wanted to send the kids off with something a little special to mark the start of it all. This is hands down my favorite açaí bowl spot. 😍 We always find Playa Bowls when we’re traveling, so I was SO excited when I heard one was finally coming to STL.

Then I found out it’s right by my house AND I’ll pass it on my way to work every day… 😬😂 I’m officially going to need a new eating-out budget.
