Take Action now to Protect Free Speech, Clean Water & Conservation Lands.

Florida Senate Bill 290 (2026) is dangerous for our state—and it needs to be stopped.

This bill includes a so-called “food disparagement” clause that functions like a gag law, allowing powerful agricultural interests to sue citizens, scientists, journalists, and nonprofits for speaking out about harmful practices—like sugarcane burning, pesticide use, and fertilizer runoff.

Why SB 290 matters: • Threatens Free Speech – Section 48 gives industry a legal weapon to silence critics.

• Endangers Clean Water – One-way attorney fees make it financially risky to advocate for public health and Florida’s waterways.

• Puts Conservation Lands at Risk – Opens the door to selling off taxpayer-funded lands (Florida Forever) under “agricultural suitability” reviews.

• Unnecessary & Intimidating – Florida already has defamation laws. This bill is about silencing dissent, not protecting truth.


Clean water and protected lands belong to the people—not special interests.

I would like to take a moment in these chaotic times to share my thoughts and prayers.

Perhaps, if these words resonate with you all, we can daily hold our country and the planet in prayers for Peace and Harmony for the next 21 days🙏

I truly believe that We, you and I and the people of the USA are being called to rise and stand together in honoring free speech, human rights, and human decency.

May we, the people, choose to protect our environment by safeguarding clean water, nurturing healthy soil free from harmful chemicals, and preserving our public lands for generations to come.

May we uphold the patriotic spirit of our constitutional rights, honoring due process, defending the checks and balances that safeguard our country, protecting freedom from religious persecution, and preserving the vital separation of church and state that ensures liberty for all.

May we stand together in Compassion and in the light of Love in our commitment to not demonize nor dehumanize those we do not understand nor agree with.

May we honor the dignity of every person, regardless of political affiliation, race, ethnicity, gender, economic status, or religious belief. In doing so, we affirm our shared humanity and our responsibility to one another.

As many of you know, Florida is sliding into a buyers market for Single family homes. We have been in a buyers market for condos, villas and townhomes for a while now due to the rise of HOA fees, insurance and assessments.

Good news:
30-Year Mortgage Rate Falls to 3-Year Low
Rates on 30-year mortgages fell to 6.06% this week from 6.16% last week. A year ago, the rate averaged 7.04%. Rates on 15-year fixed-rate mortgages dropping to 5.38%

Not so good news:
In 2025, foreclosure filings were reported on 367,460 U.S. properties, up 14% from 2024 but still 25% below 2019, before pandemic disruptions altered the dynamics of the housing market, according to year-end data from real estate analytics firm ATTOM.

Florida had the highest foreclosure rate of any state last year,
