Thinking about selling your home in North Idaho? 🏡
Before you start spending thousands getting it “ready,” these are 3 areas I’d look at first:
1️⃣ Walls & trim— Scuffs, nail holes, damaged trim and mismatched touch-up paint can make an otherwise great home feel tired.
2️⃣ The little broken stuff— Loose handles, dripping faucets, doors that don’t close correctly, burnt-out bulbs… buyers notice the small things, and they start wondering what ELSE hasn’t been maintained.
3️⃣ Curb appeal— You don’t need a massive landscaping overhaul. Clean beds, trimmed landscaping, a tidy entry and a good first impression can go a long way.
But here’s the important part:
I would NOT automatically renovate your home before selling it.
Sometimes the smartest move is fixing a few inexpensive items. Sometimes it makes sense to do more. And sometimes you’re better off leaving it alone and pricing accordingly.
That’s a conversation I’d rather have with you BEFORE you start spending money.
