Born in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho where she now lives with her husband and her son Leland. She is a strong family person and enjoys spending time with them. A graduate from Gonzaga University wiith a Masters Degree in Organization Leadership she is a very dedicated volunteer and fundraiser for local Cancer patients, as well as a founding member and board member for H.E.L.P. Help Every Little Paw which is a local organization dedicated to animals in need. She is a hard worker with the utmost respect and integrity. Karen Hansen met and married her husband in CdA in 1975 and raised two wonderful daughters in North Idaho.
