There’s something really special about small town Fridays. 🤍

Kids dancing in the street. Local vendors setting up tents. Neighbors running into each other downtown. Music echoing around the square while the sun starts setting behind the courthouse.

This is the kind of thing people mean when they say they want a slower, sweeter life.

And honestly? It’s one of my favorite parts of living here.

Recently, a friend suggested I get a strawberry plant for my girls.

So I did. 🍓

When I called her to show her my new plant, I quickly learned the strawberry plant I bought didn’t have just 1 runner… or 2… it had 3. 😂

What started as 1 strawberry plant somehow turned into 4… and honestly, I’ve now lost count of how many plants we have.

That quickly escalated into tomato plants, squash, zucchini, hydrangeas, container gardens, and my husband taking on construction projects for me every weekend. 😅

So officially… welcome to the
Middle Tennessee Garden Update 🌿

There's something I've learned quickly as a new real estate agent...

Sometimes the job isn't about the house.

Back in November, I met a couple who was looking to buy a home. I had the privilege of serving as their buyer’s agent for a few months while we searched for the right place.

We toured homes. We talked through options. We waited for the one that felt right. But by February, we hadn’t landed on the perfect house yet — and that’s okay.

Because this morning I woke up to something far more important…

A picture from the hospital welcoming their brand new baby into the world.

That moment reminded me of something really powerful:
Real estate is about people and seasons of life.
Sometimes the right house takes time.
Sometimes priorities shift.
And sometimes the greatest milestone has nothing to do with a closing table.

What started as a meeting between complete strangers turned into a genuine relationship — one meaningful enough that they shared one of the biggest moments of their lives with me.

That’s the kind of real estate I want to build my career around.
Relationships first.
Homes second.
And when the timing is right, we’ll find the perfect place for that new baby to grow up. 🏡
