I got a chance to spend some time in my backyard this morning.
I started with repotting my Peace Lily. I call her Ida Mae. She's affectionately named after my husband's grandmother 💙🕊. I've had her 12 years.
I then took some snippets from my Pothos (her name is Diva) to propagate, because she was getting a little viney.
I let Ida Mae get a little sun before I brought her back inside.
I then looked up to see that those danggone birds got me again! God gave them the whole world, but they want to live in my dryer vent. 🤦🏾‍♀️😡
And I don't even want to know what lives in this hole. 😱

I wanted to chase waterfalls, but based on these knees I thought it prudent to stick to the rivers, lakes (really it's streams) that I'm used to 💁🏾‍♀️; which landed me at Providence Canyon State Park.

I can't always guarantee that lunch and dinner will be on par, (That's because I don't always make time to eat. Don't tell my trainer 😬), but for breakfast I'm going to hit the mark.

A nutritious breakfast sets me up to meet my wellness goals and also gives me energy to show up for my clients throughout the day.

This is one of my favorites: Savory oatmeal with a scrambled egg, red bell peppers and spinach. I add a little chili onion crunch for razzle dazzle! 💁🏾‍♀️

Don't knock it until you try it. I honestly don't prefer sweet oatmeal anymore since making the switch to this version.

🚧 TRAFFIC ALERT | Buena Vista Road / I-185 Interchange 🚧

Heads up, Columbus! 🚦 GDOT has announced a major overnight traffic pattern shift at the Buena Vista Road/I-185 interchange beginning:

📅 Friday, May 29
⏰ 7:00 PM – Saturday, May 30 at 6:00 AM

⚠️ During this time:
🔹 The bridge will be CLOSED to traffic
🔹 Detour routes will be in place
🔹 Drivers should expect new traffic patterns and follow posted signage carefully

Once completed, the interchange will transition to a “Diverging Diamond” design aimed at improving safety and traffic flow for our community. 🚗💨

Please plan ahead, drive cautiously, and share this information with your family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers so everyone can stay informed and safe! 🦺
