You can’t control the timeline. You can control whether you stay in the fight.

Sometimes the hardest part of a roof job isn't the roof. It's the insurance company.

This homeowner called me about an addition. He had State Farm and figured there was zero chance they'd cover anything. Honestly, State Farm is one of the toughest to get a roof approved with.

I told him just file the claim and see. Worst case, nothing changes.

Cat adjuster came out. I left the property, and by 5pm he was calling me.

Full replacement. Approved.

Most homeowners never even ask. They assume no and end up paying for something they didn't have to.

Sometimes caring about someone means expecting more from them.

Not because where they are today isn’t good enough, but because you can see where they could be tomorrow.

The people who truly matter in your life shouldn’t just make you feel comfortable. They should challenge you, call you out, and remind you that you’re capable of more.

Growth can change relationships. Some people will grow with you, some will grow in a different direction, and some simply won’t want to grow at all.

And that’s okay.

Love people where they are, but don’t be afraid to believe in who they can become.

Nobody really prepares you for this part.

You spend years chasing every yes you can get. Every call, every deal, every open door. Then things start working, and the doors start opening on their own.

That's when it gets tricky.

Some of those opportunities look great. Some you could probably even win at. But every yes pulls time and energy away from the people counting on you and the thing you're actually building.

Saying no to something good so you can go all in on what matters most is uncomfortable. It's also where real growth happens.

Sometimes you can give someone everything you have and still lose them.

Not because what you gave wasn’t enough, but because giving isn’t the same as becoming.

There’s a difference between trying to be everything for someone and becoming everything you’re capable of being.

The second one changes you from the inside out. And when you keep growing, not everyone will understand it. Some people will grow with you. Some will walk away.

That’s okay.

The goal was never to be accepted by everyone.

The goal is to become someone you respect when you look in the mirror.
