⚠️ URGENT: MANDATORY WATER CURTAILMENT
A water main break in the raw water line from Brewer Lake to the Roger Q Mills Water Treatment Plant has temporarily reduced Conway Corp’s ability to effectively produce a high-demand volume of treated water to customers.
To ensure every community member maintains a sufficient supply of water to meet their most critical needs, Conway Corp is issuing a mandatory water curtailment notice beginning Friday, September 13 at 8 a.m.
Water quality has not been affected, and water remains safe for drinking.
Conway Corp will be performing emergency repairs to the water line beginning Friday, September 13. The curtailment notice is expected to be in effect until Saturday evening. When the curtailment notice is lifted or if additional measures become necessary, customers will be notified.
We need the support and cooperation of all residential and commercial water users. Refraining from activities like watering the yard, washing cars, extensive use of dishwashers and washing machines and long showers will ensure that all community members have sufficient water to meet critical needs for hygiene and consumption.
Effective ways to conserve water during this brief curtailment include:
💧 Suspend irrigation entirely. Do not water any trees, lawns, grass or other vegetation.
💧Delay washing clothes and washing dishes during the curtailment.
💧Do not wash vehicles, boats, etc. or water down driveways, sidewalks or any buildings.
💧Do not fill, refill or add to any indoor or outdoor swimming pool, whirlpool bath pool or fountain.
💧Delay showering until necessary. Turn off the water while washing your hair.
💧Turn off the water while brushing your teeth.
