Oregon Realtors Fall Governance, and my notebook is full. This year was a treat to experience governance at a beautiful scenic lodge… but wherever we meet, I leave informed, invigorated, and grateful for the experience.

Every forum and committee meeting had something worth taking in: industry updates, honest discussion, new ideas, and a room full of professionals who care about this work. I’m tired in the best way.

Coos County Board of Realtors members, we’re bringing it all home to you. Watch for updates and we’ll see you this Friday at our bi-annual General Membership Meeting on Friday 10/30. If you have questions about anything happening at the state level, send them my way and I’ll follow up.

Grateful to sit at these tables, be a listening ear, and speak up for our corner of the coast.

Our second annual Paint & Pour with Josie of Josie Art Lab is in the books, and it was another great night. 🎨🍷

This year’s raven felt like the perfect fit for fall. Moody skies, rich colors, and a room full of neighbors, clients, and friends trading brush tips and laughs. No two ravens looked alike, and that was the best part.

At National Real Estate Oregon, we believe in being part of the community we serve. Evenings like this are how we get to know the people who make the Southern Oregon Coast home.

Thank you to Josie for leading us again Josie Keating and to everyone who joined us. We can’t wait for next year!

Thinking about buying, selling, or relocating? Send us a DM and we’ll help you get started.

I had the pleasure of joining Carin Hilgeman and Samantha Oswald ✨Oregon Coast REALTOR® at the Port Orford Senior Center to talk about helping seniors understand their options when it comes to housing, finances, and the next chapter of life.

I shared information about reverse mortgages and how they may be a useful financial tool for some homeowners, while Carin and Samantha talked about the many real estate considerations that can come with aging and changing needs.

As a Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES), Carin can help seniors and their families navigate so many transitions, including:
🏡 Aging in place
📦 Downsizing
🏘️ Assisted living & retirement communities
🚚 Relocating
❤️ And everything in between

I’m grateful for opportunities like this where we can come together, share information, and help our community feel more confident about the choices available to them.

There’s no one-size-fits-all answer when it comes to home and retirement—and having the right people in your corner can make all the difference. 💙
