One of the biggest myths I run into every single day — people assuming they need a massive down payment before they can even think about buying a home. I get it, that number in your head feels like the rule. But in reality, there are home loan programs specifically designed for buyers who are ready to own but are not sitting on a pile of savings. FHA loans, USDA loans, VA loans, and certain conventional loan programs may allow qualified buyers to get into a home with a much lower down payment than most people expect. The path to homeownership is more accessible than the traditional narrative suggests, and part of my job is making sure you know what options actually exist before you talk yourself out of even trying.
