Not every home is snapped up immediately anymore, regardless of how perfect it is priced or how cute the home is. Sometimes the market is just blah. Sometimes the economy is taking a hit. Sometimes your sellers have an excessive amount of plants. Sometimes you just need the right buyer to come along. This sweet home only had two showings and they were both in the same week! We went from no activity to sold in the blink of an eye at almost list price. Thus saving the comps in the neighborhood. If you’re discouraged in this market, just know the right buyer is coming. Be patient. Do your due diligence, keep the house show ready and keep watering those plants!!

This one was so bittersweet. Every closing has a story and every home has its own history. This particular one belong to some dear friends and longtime neighbors of mine from when I lived in Covington. As we age we have to make different decisions in life. My friends were downsizing and it was very hard on them as well as on their family. They needed extra TLC and attention. They needed a lot of patience and a lot of kindness from everyone involved. I know the new owners of this home will love the neighborhood. For 25 years, I walked my dogs up and down the street every single day morning and night. I made lifelong friends who are family to me. Just because we’ve moved and now they’ve moved on to live in a new city, doesn’t mean we all won’t still be a part of each other’s lives. If you know of anyone who needs that extra TLC for not only her clients but their family as well. Send them my way. Real estate is not always transactional. It’s relationships. It’s life and it’s love.💕

So today I had the best of intentions! I took some amazing photos of this adorable listing in Slidell. It’s stunning the views from the windows inside this home are just amazing! You can even see the skyline of New Orleans from the back porch on this camp. It’s a bougie camp. You’ll just have to take my word for it. Apparently, this is how I social media life!! Lawd help me! This is all I got. No fancy baths. No cute patios. No boat dock. You all get to see my feet!
