Summer meals are coming back! ☀️🍎

Newton County Schools will once again offer FREE summer meals for children 18 and under (or 21 and under for individuals with disabilities) through our 2026 Summer Meals Program.

Families will have access to:
• Weekly meal pick-up locations with 7 breakfasts and 7 lunches per child
• Daily on-site meal locations throughout the community

Whether your family needs grab-and-go convenience or daily meal service, we’re proud to help ensure children across Newton County continue to have access to nutritious meals all summer long.

The numbers are in, and the Eastside High School, Newton County Class of 2026 is soaring to new heights! 🦅💚

This incredible senior class earned an unbelievable $32,994,208 in academic and athletic scholarships this year!

And they’re not stopping there:
🎓 180 seniors are continuing their education at colleges and universities
💼 117 are heading directly into the workforce
🇺🇸 31 have committed to serve our country in the United States military

No matter the path, these Eagles are ready to make their mark on the world. We are proud of every single member of the Class of 2026 and can’t wait to see what’s next for this outstanding group of graduates!

Families and guests attending our upcoming graduation ceremonies are encouraged to review our official Graduation Information Newsletter before arriving at Sharp Stadium. The newsletter includes important details for the ceremonies at Alcovy High School, Eastside High School, and Newton High School, including parking, shuttle transportation, clear bag policy information, arrival recommendations, and more.

Please plan to arrive early each evening, as traffic will be heavy entering and leaving the stadium area.

The Newton County STEAM Academy is now accepting applications for students entering 1st through 8th grade for the 2026–2027 school year!

NCSA provides students with engaging, project-based learning experiences focused on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics in a unique and dynamic educational setting.
