Good luck to all the Flying Pig runners today! 🐷🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ This photo was from 10 years ago, before my hip replacement and back surgery. Running was something I truly loved—the way it made me feel, the challenge of racing the clock, and how it could cleanse the mind and soul.
That was probably my 10th or 11th marathon, and while these days I’ve traded long miles for shorter 1–2 mile runs, I’m so grateful for every memory, every finish line, and every place I was able to travel because of this sport.
Sometimes it’s hard to let go of what you love, but I cherish the journey and all it gave me. Running always brought me peace.
Cheers to every runner crossing the finish line today—celebrate this incredible accomplishment You did!
