Military Monday 🇺🇸 | PCSing for 3 years… does it make more sense to rent or buy?

The answer isn’t automatically one or the other.

If you’re considering buying, one of the biggest things I want you to think about is your exit strategy before you ever make an offer.

When new orders come, selling isn’t your only option. Depending on the numbers, you may be able to keep the home as a rental, have rental income help cover the mortgage, and potentially continue building equity while you’re at your next duty station.

For some families, selling will make more sense. For others, holding onto the property can become part of a longer-term plan.

Your PCS timeline matters—but so does what you want that home to do for you after you leave.
