It’s almost inevitable that an economic recession is coming.
Historically, this will cause some easing in fiscal policy and should help push mortgage rates back lower.

Inventory for homes is still at historic lows and while there may be some “deceleration” of prices, home values are still expected to appreciate…just slower and more “normal”.

Deceleration is NOT depreciation!

If the recession does impact people’s ability to work or earn money, most homeowners have a ton of equity in their home and could sell if it came down to it.

This is nothing like the sub-prime hosting crash of 2007-2008.

If you can afford it, don’t wait to buy. It will only be more expensive this time next year.

If and/or when rates come back down, you can look to refinance and take advantage of the lower rates.
