This is RIDICULOUS! The landlord for Maison in Dana Point is trying to evict them for outdoor dining that landlord has approved! After my first visit to Maison they we a clear front runner for my favorite restaurant in Orange County. Danielle has clearly worked hard to create an amazing local dining experience and we can not allow this amazing local business to be unfairly targeted especially after all that covid has already disrupted.

My heart aches as I share this news with you. My landlord is trying to evict me. Maison needs your help. I need your help.
I’ve told some of you in passing what’s going on at Maison and have decided that it’s time to share it with each of you.
A few weeks ago, on a Monday, I looked up and saw papers taped all over the face of Maison, my landlord is trying to evict me from the shopping plaza, he claims that our outdoor dining is breaking my lease agreement and unless I completely remove the garden seating (that he approved), he will take legal actions to evict us.
I’m not sure why he is doing this… why he is trying to push out the very business that has brought new life to his old shopping plaza… he never assumed that Maison would flourish, never assumed that the community would embrace this single mom and her vision to bring organic food to a goofy little shopping center. But now he wants me out, and is taking strong measures to get there.
I’m left with 3 options.
