Mayor Dickens is pushing hard to extend several TADs (Tax Allocation Districts) in an effort to bring up all neighborhoods in the city. The rub comes when there has been a lack of financial accountablility. Council is pushing back on that issue and they've extended the vote on this important issue for several weeks. Take a closer look at this, educate yourself and let your council member know where you stand on this issue. It is a wise choice to continue to reinvest in our communities, but audits and accountability need to be in place as well. We've got this Atlanta!
