We had the opportunity to tour Jones Homes USA in Legends Preserve today, and these homes are absolutely beautiful. 🏡

Every home had its own look and feel, and there were so many beautiful details throughout. They also offer some unique features and options that help set them apart from many other builders.

Today I had the honor of being part of the team recognized with the YPN West Volusia Association of REALTORS® Corporate Champion Award for our involvement in helping feed more than 250 families in 2025. ❤️

To me, being a REALTOR® has never been just about selling homes. It’s about the people who live in those homes, the neighborhoods we serve, and the communities we get to be part of.

We have both a privilege and a responsibility to show up for our community, not because there is an award attached to it, but because this is home for us too.

I’m incredibly grateful to be part of a team and a Board of REALTORS® that understands the importance of giving back and putting people first.

And if you’re a fellow REALTOR®, I’d encourage you to find a way to get involved. Our local Board of REALTORS® , West Volusia Association of Realtors, has so many opportunities to serve, volunteer, give back, and make a difference. Sometimes all it takes is asking, “Where can I help?”

Seven years ago today, I became a licensed Real Estate Agent! ❤️

And let me tell you… there are a few things they definitely do not teach you in real estate school. Actually, there are a lot of things no one talks about at all. 😅

They don’t prepare you for the ups and downs, the long days and late nights, the discouragement, the disappointments, or the moments that make you question absolutely everything.

They also don’t require you to get a new headshot every year…but after comparing my first business photo from 2019 to my 2026 photo, I’m thinking maybe they should. 😂

They don’t tell you how important it is to find the right brokerage, one that aligns with your heart, your values, and the way you want to serve people. I’m incredibly grateful to say that I found mine. ❤️

This industry can stretch you, humble you, and sometimes feel like it is trying to tear you apart. But it has also been one of the greatest blessings of my life.

I’ve had the privilege of helping so many people through some of life’s biggest moments, buying a first home, selling a longtime home, starting over, building a future, and everything in between. The relationships and friendships I’ve gained along the way have made every hard day worth it.

Honestly, I only wish I had done it sooner.

Here’s to seven years of learning, growing, serving, laughing, crying, praying, and continuing to show up.
