Look for inaccuracies like accounts you don't recognize, wrong payment history, or duplicate entries. If you find errors, dispute them directly with the bureau—they have 30 days to investigate. While you're at it, check your credit score and understand what lenders will see. A higher score means better rates and lower monthly payments.
