A meal is one of the most practical ways to help someone that goes beyond just filling up their dinner plate. For a family staying at our shelter, a hot dinner can be a grounding moment in the midst of a very chaotic week.

His Hope Ministries serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner to our guests throughout the shelter season, and our community is what makes most of it possible. A church group can take one night, a business can sponsor meals for a stretch of the season, and a family can cook together and drop off a dish.

We are so excited to partner with this amazing business, Mid-Atlantic Organic Regional Company (MAORC), to distribute 10lb Roaster Chickens!!! This is such an amazing opportunity that arose and we are so glad to be a part of it! Stop by and grab yours! We only have 100 to give away so come early! November 17th 10:00am-12:00!

We would like to thank the amazing ladies of the Denton Church of the Nazarene for the wonderful Meal Train they provided — tacos with all the fixings!

They also brought additional donations for our shelter: feminine products, paper towels, toilet paper, laundry soap, napkins, plates, batteries, doughnuts, fruit punch, and milk for our Meal Train.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Denton Police Department for putting on the Faith & Blue Weekend event!

Thank you for inviting the community to come out and join in on the fun — with all the cars, motorcycles, fire trucks, ambulances, and everyone who brought donations to help Fill the Cruiser.

All donations went to local food pantries and to His Hope Ministries. We are so grateful for your support!
