As a child-free individual, I love seeing all of your kid’s back to school pictures and all of the excitement for the next year. Keep ‘em coming! I am rooting for them!

I also know that this involves:
✅ last minute school clothing shopping
✅ last minute school supply shopping
✅ lunch and snack shopping
✅ hair cuts
✅ buying backpacks and lunch boxes
✅ figuring out new schedules
✅ back to school night tours and open houses
✅ figuring out school bus schedules or transportation issues
✅ anxiety about the new year
✅ maybe some melt downs

I also have some best friends who are teachers. I know that this involves:
✅ trying to get your classroom arranged the way you want it
✅ decorating your classroom
✅ potentially learning new curriculum
✅ having meetings upon meetings that may OR MAY NOT be the most helpful
✅ meeting new coworkers
✅ maybe getting a new administration
✅ transitioning back from summer mode to school mode
✅ hoping that you don’t have too many kids in your classroom
✅ hoping that you have a good set of kids because that really will determine your year
✅ working on setting ground rules and seeing what maturity and skillsets and social skills kids have from growing up during covid

💓💓💓Y’all—This house is so darling and ready for someone to move right in! All of these things are new within the last two years: roof, furnace, AC, tankless water heater, refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, a new radon mitigation system, new luxury vinyl planking on the main floor, new carpet in the basement AND THE ENTIRE INTERIOR has been repainted.
