-Weed-whacking at 9pm (truth.)
-Removing kids’ stickers from the windows (also at 9pm!)
-Strapping the trampoline to the car (questionable!)

Whatever-it-took was the state of mind for my sellers. They moved with speed and grace to get this home ready for market, and did it again when responding to needs during the sale process. As a result, they received multiple offers, accepted a contract over list price, and closed quickly. Yessss!

The victory of the swift sale was not without emotional moments, however. Alongside their late-night heroics and can-do attitude, they had to say goodbye to the home where they started their family, where beautiful memories were made, where a lot of “firsts” lived. This important move took a couple years of careful consideration, ensuring their next home would be worthy of housing their growing family.

In the end, I’m sure they’ll agree the hurdles were worth the effort. I am so impressed with you guys!

Thrilled for my buyer who after a wild contract ride, still said yes to this charmer. She looked at many homes…most lacked heart, or the locations were weak. This one claimed both. It has quirks, wants improvements in some spaces, and the inspection nearly crushed us (seriously!) but it is also exceedingly inviting and easy to love! Hi friends! Thanks for hanging in there while I took a pause from posting closing stories — I’m happily back in storytelling mode (happy for me, maybe not for you!)🧑‍🩰

This one deserves a moment:

⚪️ We made our move early, catching this Lake Creek home as it was preparing to launch.
⚪️ We stayed cautiously optimistic as the contract took shape and kept our emotions grounded.
⚪️ More than once, when a challenge popped up, we stepped back and did a real gut check.
⚪️ Each time, we regrouped, leaned back in, and kept moving forward.
⚪️ And in the end — with a few (!!!) twists for good measure — the closing came together, and my buyers are thrilled!

Chapters. 📚 We all move through them. For me, they create focus, define what’s closing, and welcome what’s beginning — like crossing the finish line, and starting a new race. 🏃 This sale marks the end of a meaningful chapter for my sellers, and likely for this home. With a 6,340‑square‑foot lot just two blocks from the park, there’s a good chance a new build will rise where this 1924 home now stands.

I know, I know, it can be hard to see our original homes replaced. But remember — this home was new once too, built on raw land with someone’s vision in mind. We keep creating; it’s part of who we are. 🌱The hope is simply that each creation is intentional.
