What Am I Looking For When I Preview Homes for My Buyers? 👀
One of my favorite parts of real estate is getting out into the neighborhoods, previewing homes, and exploring communities firsthand — so I can help my buyers discover opportunities they might otherwise miss!
📍 Today we’re exploring Arvada & Wheat Ridge, just west of Denver, where newer townhome communities offer some pretty appealing lifestyle perks!
✨ Here’s what caught my attention:
🏡 2, 3 & 4-bedroom townhomes built in 2023 or later
🚆 Walking distance to light rail with easy access to Downtown Denver
🚗 Convenient access to I-70 for commuting and mountain getaways 🏔️
🌳 Community green space and outdoor gathering areas
🔑 Low HOA dues and low-maintenance living

💰 BONUS: Let’s talk assumable mortgages!
Some homes offer the opportunity to assume the seller’s existing mortgage — potentially at an interest rate significantly lower than today’s rates! When available and the buyer qualifies, this can be a tremendous financial advantage. There are additional requirements, timelines, and potential cash considerations, so understanding the details is key.
