Date night at Latin King ❤️🍝

We hadn't been back in quite a while, but we're so glad we decided to give it another try!

The food was delicious, the portions were huge, and we had such a great evening together. It's always fun finding local places that remind you why they've been around for so long.

If you've been to Latin King, what's your go-to order? 👇

Now that summer is almost here, I feel like everyone starts thinking about fresh starts a little more ☀️🏡

Maybe it’s:
• moving into a first home
• needing more space
• downsizing
• relocating
• finally wanting a backyard
• or just casually browsing Zillow at night 😂

Even if buying or selling is still a long-term goal, I always think it’s helpful to start learning about the process early and getting a feel for what’s out there.

Real estate can feel overwhelming when you look at everything all at once, but it becomes a lot less intimidating when you take it one step at a time 🤍

Also… I know I can’t be the only one who “accidentally” ends up scrolling house listings for way too long 😅

Last day of school = officially switching from teacher mode to summer real estate mode ☀️🏡

As much as I’m looking forward to slower mornings, sunshine, and a little extra flexibility, it’s always bittersweet wrapping up another school year. Teaching is such a huge part of who I am, and I’m so grateful for the relationships, memories, and growth that come with it every year.

Now with summer here, I’m excited to spend more time focusing on real estate and helping more people throughout the DSM area navigate buying, selling, and planning for their next chapter.

One thing I’ve realized is that teaching and real estate actually have a lot in common — communication, patience, problem-solving, and helping people feel confident during big moments in life. 🤍

Here’s to summer, new goals, and hopefully helping a lot more people find a place to call home!

One thing I’ve noticed about first-time buyers? Most people think they need to have everything perfectly figured out before talking to a realtor… and that’s definitely not true. 🏡

You don’t need:
❌ a perfect timeline
❌ all the answers
❌ 20% down
❌ or your “dream home” picked out already

A lot of the buying process is simply learning what’s realistic, asking questions, and figuring out what makes sense for your life and budget.

Honestly, one of my favorite parts of real estate is helping people feel less overwhelmed by the process and more confident taking that first step. 🤍

Even if buying feels far away right now, it’s never a bad idea to start learning early!

Not every house feels like a home right away… but there are certain little things that instantly make a space feel cozy to me 🤍🏡

A few of mine:
• warm lighting instead of super bright overhead lights
• bookshelves filled with personality
• a lived-in kitchen
• cozy blankets and neutral colors
• natural light
• plants (even though keeping them alive is another story 😅)
• a comfy reading corner
• and of course… a dog somewhere in the house 🐶

One of my favorite things about real estate is seeing how differently people define “home.” What feels cozy and comforting to one person can look completely different for someone else — and I love that.

Okay your turn… what instantly makes a house feel cozy to YOU?

Happy Memorial Day ❤️🤍💙

Today is a reminder to slow down a little, spend time with the people we love, and remember the men and women who made incredible sacrifices for our country.

Memorial Day has always felt especially meaningful in our family because of Jace’s time serving in the National Guard, and it’s a day that brings an even deeper appreciation for those who have served and sacrificed for our country.

I hope everyone is enjoying the long weekend — whether that looks like time with family and friends, grilling outside, traveling, relaxing at home, or simply soaking up the start of summer ☀️

A lot of people ask how I got into real estate while also teaching full time — and honestly, it makes perfect sense to me. 🤍

I’ve always loved working with people, building relationships, and helping others feel confident during big moments in life. As a teacher, I spend every day explaining things, staying organized, communicating clearly, and helping students through situations that can sometimes feel overwhelming… and real estate isn’t all that different.

Whether someone is buying their first home, selling a place full of memories, or simply exploring their options, I love being someone people can trust and feel comfortable asking questions along the way.

This summer I’m especially excited to continue growing my real estate business and helping more people throughout the DSM area navigate the market with confidence — whether that means buying, selling, investing, or planning for the future.

And of course, when I’m not teaching or doing real estate, you can usually find me spending time with family and friends, reading, traveling, or hanging out with my mini Bernedoodle, Clark 🐶

I’m really grateful for everyone who has supported me so far and excited for what’s ahead!
