We headed toward Rollag this morning to travel back in time and take it all in—this time through the eyes of a 1-year-old. There’s something so special about Rollag—the old steam engines, tractors, historic buildings, and all the sights and sounds that bring the past back to life. And of course enjoying the delicious food, especially the caramel rolls! I’m so grateful we have so many cool things to see and do right here in our area. It’s one of the many reasons we love living here.

❤️ Disaster Relief Assistance is Still Available!!

The Lakes Country Association of REALTORS® (LCAR) partnered with Minnesota REALTORS® to provide qualifying (primary home) homeowners and renters affected by the July 6 tornado with up to $1,000 in financial assistance to help with immediate recovery needs. Funding is provided through the REALTORS® Relief Foundation, which helps families and communities recover and return home following disasters.

⏰ Applications must be submitted by September 9, 2026. Assistance is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to available funding.

I’m so grateful to be part of the REALTORS Relief Foundation and the incredible work it does for communities when disaster strikes. 💙

As the REALTORS Relief Foundation Ambassador for our local Lakes Country Association of REALTORS® (LCAR), I’ve had the privilege of helping raise awareness and funds to support families affected by natural disasters. After the tornado hit our own community in early July, this mission became even more personal.

LCAR, working alongside Minnesota REALTORS®, acted quickly to apply for assistance through the REALTORS Relief Foundation. We are so thankful that our application was approved, bringing much-needed funds directly back to our community. Already, more than a dozen local homeowners have applied for assistance. ❤️
