Mortgage rates are moving lower and while they may drop even lower come spring, when they do, more buyers will mean more competition for available homes and more competition will drive prices up. This winter may be a good time to buy because folks who list their homes during the winter typically have a need to sell and you may find a better deal than waiting for the spring when folks are willing to hold on through the summer to get their asking price.
