👇👇👇☝️👇, right? Well, when visiting family in California, that means talking shop and touring gorgeous homes! 🏡☀️

Between making family memories, I got a sneak peek into the California market. My Dad and bonus mom have been real estate pros for a long time, so naturally, they had to take me out and show me how the West Coast does it.

We checked out Tri Pointe Homes’ Luna at the Sky community, and the name is no exaggeration. Perched right on top of a mountain, it literally feels like you're standing in the clouds.

Thursdays are for celebrating community, and what better way to do that than by shining a light on a local gem?

This week’s Local Love goes out to Super Cichlids in Dover, DE!

My family has always been a "dog family," but this year we decided to embark on a new adventure: becoming "fish people." Spoiler alert: maintaining a healthy aquarium is not for the faint of heart, and you definitely need an expert in your corner to navigate the learning curve.

My son and I visited Super Cichlids a few times for backup, and the team was incredible. They helped us troubleshoot our tank issues, answered every single question, and gave us top-notch advice to get things back on track.

While we were there, we realized Delaware basically has its own mini-aquarium. Every fish in that shop has its own distinct personality. Plus, they have actual Axolotls! If you’re like me, you might have thought Axolotls were mystical creatures from a video game. Turns out they’re real, and you can see them right here in Dover.

Lisa, the owner, even let my son help feed the fish, which made his whole week. We couldn’t add new fish to our tank just yet, but we walked away with some beautiful live plants to level up our aquarium setup.

New favorite spot unlocked!
Today we tried Tequila Real in Milton, DE, and it did not disappoint. Located right across from Wagamons Pond, it served up incredible views, amazing food, and the absolute best company.
Loved exploring a new foodie spot with my girls Syreeta and Zachia. We will definitely be back!

Trading the Lone Star State for the First State - Sold!

Selling a home, moving across the country, and buying a new one all at once? Sounds like a logistics nightmare, but, the hard work paid off!
