I don't care how hot it is outside, I'm declaring it Friday Night Lights season 📺🏈🍁

It's almost officially fall and it's time to prepare our homes for the new season. And no, I'm not *just* talking about buying the cute pumpkin candle you saw at Target! I'm talking about your monthly Homeowner Checklist!

This month's list looks like:

🍃 Clean the gutters
🌳 Give Summer lawn tools a good tune up
🛢 Change the oil in the lawnmower
🔧 Service your HVAC system (there isn't a good emoji for this, sorry)!
👩‍🚒 Inspect fire extinguisher
🧹 Sweep the garage and wipe dirt from garage door tracks
🏠 Inspect the chimney for loose flashing or missing mortar
⛏ Split firewood to a size that will fit in your fireplace
🐞 Stack wood away from the house to prevent bugs
💦 Make sure windows are sealed tight
🌻 Plant mums or sunflowers in pots by the front porch
🍁 Stock up on your favorite fall candle scents
✏️ Set up a homework station

Offer accepted and we are under contract! We went on the market Thursday, had A LOT of activity and showings, and accepted an offer on Sunday. I knew this one wouldn’t last long 😉 Now to work to the closing table!!!

Not only is this sweet client of mine buying the absolute most perfect house for her, but she’s moving to a whole other state! It’s always hard when you live in another state and have to buy site unseen, but God had His hand on this one and brought the exact house that was meant for her and her green thumb! I can’t wait for her to experience all that SC has to offer. Being trusted in a transaction like this is honoring to say the least. I came recommended to her through a friend, so she didn’t even know me, but we took the time to chat on the phone and get to know more about each other. I worked hard to communicate and make sure she knew everything she possibly could about the home and area before we pulled the trigger. But, this one truly was God sent. I’m so excited for you, Angelle! CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Happy 2nd Birthday, our beautiful blue eyed beauty 🤍 If I had to choose one word to sum you up, it would be 𝐁𝐎𝐋𝐃. You carry a boldness, that quite honestly, can be exhausting at times. But my biggest prayer is that you continue to carry that through life just as strongly as you do now. We always say you are “all gas and no brakes”. And I believe as you grow, when you combine that with your boldness, you will take the world by storm. A Facebook post could never truly encompass our feelings for you and the prayers we speak daily over your life, but just know, we could never thank God enough for sending us your very “perfect for us” soul.

This is a capital d Doozy but let's dive in.

If you're like any of my friends, you see a For Sale sign on a house down the street, pull up the listing, and think to yourself, "Well if they can get THAT, then we can surely get THIS!" 😅

Homes in this market often come with a bit of sticker shock for those who haven't actively been looking at homes. But, because I'm a glass half full kind of girl, I like to think it's a good thing. Here's why ➡️

Me: *enjoying my day at the lake with my computer still getting it done for my clients*

Real estate never takes a day off. Which means, even days I take to unplug, there’s still always things that come up that need to be handled right then. These are times I’m so thankfully for technology, like personal hotspot 😂 which allows me to be able to get these things done, even from Lake Hartwell. I’m always working for my clients, because I’m so thankful they chose me to guide them on this journey. I love this career. I love my clients. I love building relationships with other professionals in this business. So thankful for the opportunity to get to work, even on days “off”.
