🚫 When a lender says “no”… try someone else.

I recently worked with a young buyer who was told by a friend (who is a lender) that they couldn’t qualify for the home they loved.
The rate? 7.1%
The answer? No.

They were torn—no one wants to hurt a friend’s feelings—but they also really wanted this house. I encouraged them to make one more call to a lender I’ve successfully worked with before.

📞 They made the call.
⏱ Within 24 hours they were approved.
📉 At a 6% interest rate.
🏡 They closed in 30 days on the exact home they wanted.

The lesson? One “no” does not define your future.
Not all lenders are the same. Not all programs are the same. And not all advice is the final answer.
