What a very Bucks County kind of day. ⛈️☀️

Yardley started the morning with thunderstorms and rain, and by afternoon we had sunshine and temperatures in the 80s.

It made me think about how quickly a day can change.

Sometimes the best part is opening the door after the rain, feeling that warm air, and seeing everything outside looking a little greener and brighter. ❤️

I hope you found a reason to enjoy the sunshine when it finally showed up today.

I really do believe the kitchen is the heart of the home. ❤️

It is where coffee is poured before the day begins.

Where everyone somehow gathers even when there are plenty of other rooms.

Where stories get told, recipes get passed down, holidays get a little messy, and some of the best conversations happen when nobody planned them.

The kitchen does not have to be perfect to be special.

Sometimes the most loved kitchens are the ones with a little clutter on the counter, something simmering on the stove, and people you care about standing nearby.

Those are the moments that make a house feel like home.

Labor Day is a good reminder to appreciate the people who work so hard to make our communities such wonderful places to live. ❤️

I am especially grateful for our local businesses, farms, restaurants, schools, and neighbors throughout Bucks County.

"Never Forget"

Please join NMBOC and our community for a special 9/11 Flag Raising Ceremony as we remember those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001 and honor the first responders and local heroes who serve our community.

The ceremony will also mark NMBOC’s 25th Anniversary and the dedication of our new flagpole in memory of those who lost their lives and in honor of those who protect and serve.

The ceremony will include the Marine Corps League Patriot Detachment 1230 Color Guard, National Anthem, Flag Raising, Pledge of Allegiance, Moment of Remembrance and a musical tribute.

Beverages and light refreshments will be provided.

One thing I have learned over the years is that people usually remember how you made them feel long after they forget the details.

That matters to me.

Whether I am sitting at a kitchen table with a family, helping someone sort through a lifetime of memories, or simply listening while they figure out what they want next, I never forget that there is a person behind every decision.

And sometimes the most important thing you can offer someone is patience, kindness, and the feeling that they do not have to figure everything out alone.

That is the part of what I do that means the most to me. ❤️

September always feels like a reset to me. 🍂

Not in a big, dramatic way. More like a quiet reminder to get back into a rhythm.

The calendar fills up again. People reconnect. Weekends start to feel a little more planned. And I always find myself thinking about who I have not seen in a while and who I want to make time for.

So that is my September goal.

More coffee with friends. More dinners that are not rushed. More time with the people I care about.

Sometimes a new month is just a good excuse to be a little more intentional.
