Grateful for Eric & Alissa trusting me to help them purchase land they plan to build on. There were a few hurdles, but we were able to overcome and get this closed today!! It’s always reassuring Gods timing on how this came together!! Congratulations!!

I Love being able to share part of the stories for the families that built their lives here. Truly grateful for Paul and Caroline to let me share part of their story. God is good!!

- How long have you lived in the home? Since 2002

- How much have you invested into it? Furnace, water heater, washing machine, fridge, dish washer, roof under 5 years old.. many windows under 1 years old. Also weatherization this year. Updated basement and main floor baths. Maturing apple trees (the two types seem to produce well in opposite years) Berry patches of aronia, Raspberry, blueberries and Perennial landscaping

-What did your kids enjoy the most about their home?
The back yard for nerf gun wars, the pool, sprinkler, snacking on Berries and garden produce, all the hiding places for hide and seek

- What did you enjoy most about the house?
Space to host guests and a variety of places for different activities. The home gym when littles were sleeping but being the only adult home

- What about the property?
The garden. Put a lot of work into that and being able to have the feel of the country in the city.

- What is one thing you'll miss the most about the property?
The garden and time in the back yard with the kids. Would Have loved to enjoy the deck more as it is now that it's nice.

- What is one thing that you are most proud of about the property?
The gardens. They're low/no maintenance. They are matured in so weeding is about 3x first month and 1x a month rest of summer even though it's extensive. So many Medicinal and edible plants in all of them.

- Anything else that you think would be worth mentioning about what you love about the home/property?
Privacy with convenience of town. Great neighbors(bias on that though haha) space for everyone in the family and the place most holidays were hosted

Behind every home is a family that built their life there. Here’s a bit of the story behind my newest listing in Lakeside of Duluth. Thank you Dylan & Ilean for your trust in me!

How long have you lived in the home?
We’ve lived here for 2.5 years

- How much have you invested into it?
100k

- What do your kids enjoy most about your home?
Big sunny playroom and the big rooftop area

- What did you enjoy most about your home?
Big sunny playroom and the teeny garden on the rooftop.
My personal favorite has been the rooftop. Even through the winter. I love the views and how close nature feels when you swing the door open.
I also love the vintage hardware on the doors and the original arches.
My favorite activity during the harsh winters is watching movies in the parlor with the kids.

- What about the property?
The yard! I love the enormous beautiful trees. They provide so much privacy and are a beautiful sight in the winter. I also love the pollinator garden and the native lilies.

- What is one thing you'll miss the most about the property?
Location. It’s gonna be tough to find a place that’s both as private and connected to the city as this place. I’ll miss being 15 min away from everything while also having baby deer in the neighborhood every spring

- What is one thing that you are most proud of about the property?
The fence we put up! We weren’t here for long and I still had big plans for the garden but the fence was the biggest step of my vision.
