⚒️ Another shelter repair in the works!

We’re making much-needed repairs to our chimney thanks to the Michigan State Housing Development Authority Shelter Repair Grant! This is one of the final repairs in our project list, and it couldn’t come at a better time.

With winter just around the corner, we’re grateful for this opportunity to help ensure our shelter remains safe, warm, and welcoming for the families we serve. ❤️

Thank you to MSHDA for helping us make these important improvements possible!

🎃 TRUNK-OR-TREAT WAS A SUCCESS! 🍬

A huge THANK YOU to all our amazing volunteers and staff who helped make this day so special for our families in shelter and our community! ❤️

We loved seeing all the creative costumes, spooktacular themed trunks, and, best of all, the smiles on everyone’s faces!

Despite the chilly temperatures, we had a fantastic time!

A special shout-out to Scott Clow from 99.1 WFMK for his continued support of Haven House and for keeping the good vibes going with some sweet tunes!

Happy Friday!! ✨

Thank you to an anonymous donor for purchasing five microwaves, blenders, sets of cutting boards, and dishes sets!!!

As families move into housing, we work through our inventory of essential items to help make their new spaces feel like home. We are so grateful for the continued support and generosity of our community, which allows us to meet families’ needs and help them get settled into this next chapter of their lives. 🫶
