Congratulations to our award-winning Architecture leader, Emily Goenner, AIA on completing her Master of Architecture degree!

Kelly first hired Emily when we developed Mill & Main, our very first luxury multifamily apartment community in the Twin Cities. Since then, Emily has played an integral role in every one of our apartment communities, working with Kelly and Evan to shape the vision and design that define our work today.

As the leader of our mighty architecture team, Emily has earned numerous industry awards and accolades throughout her career. More importantly, she has earned the admiration and respect of her colleagues and the exceptional team she leads every day (pictured here).

One of our employees recently visited the Normandy American Cemetery in Colleville-sur-Mer, France, and captured this moment during the evening Retreat Ceremony as Taps played and the American flag was lowered for the night overlooking Omaha Beach. There was a little baby cooing during the music and we have purposely left this unedited for you.

The cemetery is the resting place of 9,389 American service members who gave their lives during World War II and stands as a powerful reminder of the cost of freedom and the courage shown on D-Day and in the battles that followed.

This Memorial Day, we remember those who served, those who sacrificed, and those who never made it home. 🇺🇸

One team. Many roles. Shared perspective. This week’s Walk in My Shoes experience was all about learning from each other and celebrating the people who make our communities feel like home every day. Our leadership team and other colleagues from our corporate office spent the morning working alongside colleagues at - witnessing first-hand what it takes to ensure our communities are stellar each and every day for our residents and their guests. A fun day and a reminder of our shared goals!!
