Living on the North Carolina coast means being prepared before the first storm appears on the radar. One of the biggest mistakes homeowners make is waiting until a storm is approaching to review their insurance coverage. Once a named storm enters the Atlantic, many insurance companies place binding restrictions in effect, limiting policy changes or preventing new coverage from being added.

Now is a great time to:
