Precision ownership was in Honolulu with Fading West last week, so it was great to see Hawaii News Now run a story this week about the modular homes Fading West is building for the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands (DHHL).

Fading West builds the homes at its factory in Buena Vista, Colorado, then ships them to Oahu and assembles them on site. They’re part of a DHHL pilot on 24 lots in West Oahu, 16 in Kapolei and 8 in Waianae.

The DHHL waitlist includes Native Hawaiian families, many of whom have waited years for a homestead lease because much of the homestead land still needs infrastructure and development before homes can be built. Modular homes give those families a chance to move in sooner because they go up faster and cost less. DHHL is considering a modular factory in Hawaii to lower costs further.

Precision Contractors is heading to Honolulu this week with Fading West to celebrate the most recent housing accomplishments with local and state leaders. After the event, we have several days of meetings lined up with state officials, developers, and affordable housing advocates.

Solving the housing crisis on the Islands takes courage and bold action, and factory-built housing is one of the ways Hawaii is working to get more families into homes, and faster. We’re excited about the opportunities and are working with Fading West, state officials, and developers and investors across the Islands.

The state has already made real progress. Its Affordable Housing Pipeline Dashboard tracks more than 62,000 housing units in development statewide, and more than 46,000 of them are affordable.

The kauhale initiative has opened more than two dozen villages for people experiencing homelessness and is working toward 30 villages and more than 1,500 homes by the end of 2026. Once residents are housed, their healthcare costs have dropped by as much as 76%.

Precision was happy to take part in this year’s Sporting Invitational at Loch Lloyd Country Club in the Kansas City area. The tournament raises money for The Victory Project, Sporting Kansas City’s charity.

The Victory Project supports kids with cancer and creates inclusive opportunities through soccer for youth with disabilities and limited financial resources. This support can mean a safe place to play, a once-in-a-lifetime experience, a pair of cleats, or more accessible facilities. It’s good work, and we were glad to contribute.

Kansas City is a market where we’re putting more focus, and supporting the community there matters to us as much as the work we do on our job sites. If you saw a group in American flag shirts, that was us.

The drive-thru lanes and parking lot are now striped at the new 7 Brew Coffee in Littleton, Colorado. Signage is the last major piece left on the exterior of the project.

Inside, our team is working through final setup and finishes ahead of turnover.

This site started with demolition of an old Freddy's location and a full redevelopment of the lot. Since then, we've set the modular building and completed the drive-thru, and we're down to a short list of items before handover. We'll share more photos once the signage is up and the interior is finished.

Aravalli Heights in Parker, Colorado, is moving into the final stages of construction, with work progressing across the retail spaces, fuel station, and surrounding site.

Outside, the primary concrete flatwork and asphalt paving are complete, and new landscaping is in place around the property. The fuel canopy now features finished soffits and stone-clad columns that match the main building, bringing together the exterior appearance of the retail center.

Inside Aravalli Market, crews are working through interior finishes and installing retail shelving, refrigerated display cases, and food-service equipment. The new service counter is taking shape, while large storefront windows and interior glass partitions give the space an open, modern feel.

It’s exciting to see Aravalli Heights turn an abandoned former mini golf course into a finished retail destination for the Parker community!

Exterior signage is up at Aravalli Market, the 21,000 SF multi-tenant retail center and fuel station we're building in Parker, Colorado. Paving wraps up tomorrow, and we'll share a full update next week with a look at the finished site, the fuel canopy, and the interior tenant spaces.

The new 7 Brew Coffee Littleton location is taking shape quickly as work continues around the stand.

Brick veneer is going up on the exterior, while concrete work continues around the building and drive-thru areas. After the big change that came with set day, the focus has shifted to the work that pulls the whole site together.

Our Littleton 7 Brew Coffee project continues to make steady progress toward opening day.

Renovation work is well underway at Hillel Academy in Denver, where Precision is updating approximately 4,700 SF of the existing school.

The project includes a complete refresh of the existing gym along with renovations to the adjoining classroom space. Right now, crews are in the heart of the work, with interior framing and drywall progressing while new ductwork and HVAC components are being installed overhead.

Work is continuing alongside the school’s normal day-to-day operations, making coordination an important part of the project as the team works toward an October completion.

Foundation work is taking shape at the new ground-up Sherwin-Williams location Precision is building in Westminster, Colorado!

Crews are setting forms and reinforcing steel for the 5,000+ SF ground-up retail project at 10061 Wadsworth Parkway. This is one of those early construction phases where a lot of important work is happening below grade.

The new store is being built on just over an acre along Wadsworth Parkway, with completion expected in January 2027.

We’ll keep sharing progress as the new location starts rising out of the ground.

We had a great morning yesterday at Kids First Health Care’s Back to Health Breakfast in Commerce City.

It was a chance to hear more about the impact Kids First is making for children and families across the Denver area, spend time with others who support their mission, and hear from keynote speaker Dr. Jeni Gotto, Superintendent of Westminster Public Schools.

Precision was proud to sponsor the event and support the work Kids First is doing to help keep Colorado kids healthy, so they can stay in school and be ready to succeed.
