👀 ENGLEWOOD… I HAD TO FIND OUT WHAT’S GOING ON HERE! 🧡🌴

Remember Vino Loco? 🍷 That cute little tapas spot in Englewood?

Well, I drove by the old location and noticed that BRIGHT ORANGE exterior and thought… 🤔 Okay, something is definitely happening here.

So of course, I had to investigate. 😂

I spoke with the gentleman working on the property, and he told me he’s currently in negotiations to open a Colombian-style restaurant here! 🇨🇴🍽️

⚠️ Nothing is official just yet—he said the details are still being worked out—but it certainly sounds like we could have a new Colombian dining option coming to Englewood.

And that orange? 🧡 Now it’s starting to make sense! 😂

🚨 SOMETIMES YOU HAVE TO SHOW UP TO GET THE ANSWERS. 🏠📋

I have a potential buyer with questions about a property—specifically the zoning and setbacks and what that could mean for their plans.

I tried email. 📧
I left a voicemail. 📞
No response.

So…off to the County Zoning Department I went. 🚗💨

Because when my customer needs answers before making a real estate decision, “I couldn’t get ahold of anyone” isn’t where I like to stop.

And guess what? It was absolutely worth the trip.

The woman in zoning apologized for the delay, was incredibly helpful, provided me with paperwork confirming the correct zoning, and answered my setback questions. She even emailed me afterward to follow up on our conversation. 👏

I immediately forwarded everything to my customer so they had the information they needed to make an informed decision.

THIS is the part of real estate you don’t always see on social media.

It’s not always pretty houses, waterfront views and closing-day photos. Sometimes it’s emails, phone calls, research…and when necessary, walking through the county doors yourself to get answers. 💪

🚧 ENGLEWOOD IS CHANGING… ARE WE OKAY WITH THIS? 😳🌴

Well… there goes THAT view. 😩

Driving down Old Englewood Road, you can’t miss it—the construction fence is up, and the new condos and restaurant are officially becoming a reality.

I’m torn on this one.

🌴 I hate losing that beautiful open view we’ve enjoyed for so long.

🏗️ But I also understand that communities grow, properties get developed, and change isn’t always a bad thing.

BUT… how much change is TOO much change for Englewood? 👀

That’s what I want to know from YOU.

Would you rather see:
🌴 A. Keep more of Old Englewood OLD
🏗️ B. Bring on the growth & development
🤷‍♀️ C. Somewhere in the middle

🚌 SCHOOL IS BACK — PLEASE STOP & PAY ATTENTION! 🛑

Now that school is in session, those flashing red lights on a school bus mean STOP — and knowing when you’re required to stop can make all the difference.

Take a quick look at this graphic 👆 and refresh yourself on the rules for two-lane, multi-lane, and divided roadways.

🚸 Slow down in school zones
🚌 Watch for buses making frequent stops
👀 Keep an eye out for kids crossing
📵 Put the phone down
❤️ And when in doubt, give that school bus plenty of space!
