This is an official response to the post made on Columbia County connections.

A post was made on the community connections page while my team and I were working on this same client's clean out. We did not see it until much later and I'm grateful to those who let me know what had occurred. The first I want to say that all cleaning and repairs we found most urgent occurred immediately after it was vacated on March 31 was 💯 percent done at cost to the brokerage, not because we were afraid of being sued by the client, but because we absolutely wanted to leave this house in good condition.

The security deposit was being held according to Georgia Tenant Law. The tenant has three days to dispute not receiving the deposit back or charges being applied to the deposit.

That being said, I'm incredibly grateful to the men and women whose businesses came quickly worked efficiently, and without extra cost on this masters prep week.

This is a shout out to Classy Bins & Junk Revmoval, Reliable Air Solutions, Matt Prickett at , and and Brooke and Brooks Borren, owners of Reliable Relocation cleaning.

This is also a shout out to the Grovetown Police Department, who absolutely did go and patrol the neighborhood when a neighbor thought something was happening at the house. They surveyed neighborhood for a month and then went back, I think once a month for a little while.

These tenants left at the end of their lease peaceably. To respect the clients and the tenants, I won't speak into each instance only that we followed the law throughout the years that we had this house and this tenant. There were opportunities for the clients to make a different decision both about our management and proceeding with these clients. They chose to stay in this relationship until our management agreement ended in January. After that legally, property management typically runs with the tenants' lease unless a client wants to move on and they were given that opportunity.

I won't address personal things that were stated in the post. Except to say, our family has loved and served the CSRA for the last six years that we have lived here. It has been a privilege and an honor to serve the community. And it was an honor to be cleaning out this house despite what has been said online. We always want to treat our properties with respect and I was devastated when everything was removed out of the house and we saw the state that it was left in.

I hope, that you get to know us, not because we are after your business but because we do genuinely care about you and we do genuinely care about our clients.
This has been heartbreaking. But I'm exceptionally proud of what we do and how we honor, Georgia landlord, and tenant law.

Shout out to all the incredible businesses that were serving a clean out that was negatively posted about even as they were working tirelessly this week. We do what we say. not because someone threatens us but because it's the right thing to do.
