Last night at , High Street Real Estate & Development was honored to officially receive a 2026 Charter Award from the Congress for the New Urbanism for The 1907 Block in Downtown Rogers.

This recognition reflects the vision, collaboration, and persistence of so many people — from our internal team and design partners to city leadership, tenant partners, craftspeople, and the broader Rogers community who believed in the potential of this place.

The 1907 Block was created to help foster a more connected and vibrant downtown through thoughtful mixed-use development rooted in history, walkability, and long-term community investment. We’re deeply grateful to see the work recognized on a national stage, especially here at home during CNU’s visit to Northwest Arkansas.

Last night, guests gathered at The 1907 Building in Rogers for a VIP welcome and tour featuring remarks from High Street's Ward Davis and the James Beard recognized teams behind Onyx, Heirloom and Yeyo’s (shout out to Pinky Swear, too!) — a powerful reminder of how thoughtful places bring people, culture, design, and community together!

One of the things we value most about New Urbanism is its spirit of shared ideas and inspiration. We’re honored when others look to our work, and we’re equally inspired to learn from our peers. New Urbanism is a community of people working together across America’s cities to build a better world. We’re proud to be a part of that.

The 1907 Block in Rogers, Arkansas, catalyzed the redevelopment of downtown and established the city as a culinary hub. High Street Real Estate & Development won a 2026 CNU Charter Award in The Block, Street, and Building category.

High Street is thrilled to share that The 1907 Block in Downtown Rogers has received a 2026 Charter Award from the Congress for the New Urbanism (CNU) — a national recognition honoring exemplary walkable, mixed-use, and community-centered development.

The 1907 Block brings together the restored 1907 Building and the adjacent Ritter & Spool apartments, forming a cohesive district rooted in history, designed for continued growth, and serving as a catalyst for the reemergence of Downtown Rogers.

The 1907 Building is home to ONYX Coffee Lab, Heirloom at The 1907, and Yeyo's Mezcaleria y Taqueria — all James Beard Award finalists over recent years — and we’re grateful for the role they’ve played in shaping this place. We’re also proud of our team, collaborators, and the Rogers community who helped bring this vision to life.

With CNU’s 34th annual gathering coming to Northwest Arkansas this May, it’s an especially exciting moment to see this work recognized on a national stage, right here at home. Thank you to the CNU for this recognition, and congratulations to this year’s fellow award recipients.
