📼🏡 National VCR Day – June 7 🏡📼
Today we’re celebrating a piece of technology that reminds us just how much things have changed.
There was a time when finding a movie meant driving to the video store, hoping your favorite VHS tape wasn’t already checked out, and remembering to rewind it before returning it. Now, thousands of movies are available with the click of a button.
Real estate has changed just as much.
Years ago, buyers flipped through printed listing books, drove around looking for yard signs, and waited for new listings to appear. Today, buyers can browse homes, take virtual tours, sign documents electronically, and schedule showings from their phones.
While the technology has changed, one thing hasn’t: buying or selling a home is still one of the biggest decisions most people will ever make. Good advice, local knowledge, and personal service are just as important today as they were decades ago.
So in honor of National VCR Day, tell me:
📼 What was your favorite VHS movie?
🏡 What is one thing you remember about house hunting before the internet?
I’d love to hear your stories!
