Reading a seller disclosure on an older Indy home? Start here.

• Check ages first. Roof, furnace, water heater, panel, and plumbing notes show what may be coming next.
• Watch for repeat words like leak, seepage, settlement, sewer backup, or repair. Patterns matter.
• Compare the form to the photos and your tour. If something looks patched or unfinished, ask why.
• Notice what is missing. Blank dates, unknowns, and vague notes usually mean more questions.
