Belmar was actually named after a coastal town in Europe and became a popular getaway for people coming from New York City and Philadelphia all the way back in the 1800s. If you didn’t know that, now you do!

Okay this one is a little special to me because my family actually owns Spring Lake Pizza & Bistro.

If you’re ever in Spring Lake and want an easy, casual spot, this is it. I’m talking pizza, chicken parm, cheesesteaks, all the classics, plus rotating slices that are always a 10/10.

They have indoor or outdoor seating in a super relaxed setting. One of my favorite parts is that it’s not just a restaurant, it’s personal. The bistro is filled with artwork painted by my brother, who is also the owner, so it really feels like a mix of family, food, and creativity all in one place.
If you’re walking around town or heading to the beach, it’s a must stop for a quick bite or a laid back dinner.
