Broward Partnership is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and is the largest comprehensive homeless services provider in Broward County. The Partnership operates the Central Homeless Assistance Center in Fort Lauderdale and the North Homeless Assistance Center in Pompano Beach providing street outreach, a day respite program, 498 beds of emergency shelter, over 100 units of scattered-site permanent housing interventions in Broward County, rapid rehousing, and a complete array of health and social services for men, women and families with children experiencing homelessness. The Partnership has won best practices awards from the Florida Department of Children & Families and the U.S.

Last week, we joined Community Based Connections, Inc. in celebrating four Broward Partnership fathers who successfully graduated from the A.D.A.M. (Awesome Dad, Awesome Man) fatherhood program. It was a wonderful opportunity to honor their dedication and the growth they’ve achieved. We were also honored as a Special Partner, reflecting the strength of our ongoing partnership and shared commitment to supporting the fathers and individuals we serve.

Community Based Connections provides A.D.A.M. fatherhood classes at both Broward Partnership centers, giving fathers opportunities to strengthen relationships, build skills, and grow.

Our Director of Supportive Services, Kendra Williams, attended the graduation and is pictured with Andre, one of the graduates.

Congratulations to all four graduates! We are proud of your accomplishments and look forward to all that’s ahead.

Bringing housing, education, and essential resources together under one roof. That was the assignment, and we definitely understood it!

Our Housing & Resource Fair brought together 192 guests and 29 vendors, giving attendees the opportunity to connect with a range of services and resources, including housing, health, and education.

Thank you to our Broward Partnership teams, Seven on Seventh staff, vendors, and community partners who showed up and made the day happen.

Together, we’re working toward our vision of safe and stable housing for all.

During Hunger Action month the Partnership is hosting a non-perishable food drive to fill our pantry. Your contribution ensures families and individuals in our care will have fully stocked cabinets as they move onto independent living. Items most needed are: canned meats & tuna, cooking oil, canned goods, peanut butter and jelly, pasta & sauce, dish detergent, condiments

Last week, we celebrated the incredible staff who make Broward Partnership’s work possible every day.

As part of our “We See You” Employee Appreciation Luncheons, our Leadership Team traded their usual roles for chef hats and aprons and served lunch to staff at both of our centers.

It was a chance to come together, share a meal and recognize the dedication, compassion and commitment our staff bring each day to serving individuals and families experiencing homelessness.

We’re proud of the people behind our mission and grateful for all they do to make a difference in our community.

Ellyn is a shareholder in Becker’s Government Law & Lobbying Practice and previously served more than nine years in the Florida Legislature in both the House and Senate. Her extensive experience in government, public policy and community leadership brings valuable perspective to our Board.

Susan brings extensive leadership experience in the casino and hospitality industry, along with a longstanding commitment to the South Florida community. Her business experience and dedication to giving back will be a tremendous asset to Broward Partnership.

Chefs Helping the Homeless brings some of South Florida’s finest chefs together for an evening that supports Broward Partnership’s mission and the people experiencing homelessness we serve.
