At this point I should just move into my car, answer contracts from the Starbucks drive-thru, and legally change my name to “Pending.” 😂☕️📱

The market is weird. Buyers are emotional. Sellers are stressed. Interest rates are acting like they drank Red Bull. Yet somehow… we keep getting homes under contract. 😂

Registered s*x offender Worden Bourn.
The perv who was caught with a missing minor in his boat just off of Fort Myers Beach. This past weekend he was spotted at a restaurant on the beach bragging that he was about to pull up anchor and head to Costa Rica. I laughed it off because I knew he was scheduled to appear in court this week. Well, he failed to appear and there is now a warrant out for his arrest. The judge has also ruled that Bourn's $27,500 bond is forfeited.

WYNDHAM PROPERTY UPDATE:

This month, the owners of the Wyndham property submitted an application with the town for an Emergency Temporary Placement Permit for the “temporary placement of a 60’ x 90’ temporary tent structure and five temporary trailers/vehicles. The five trailers/vehicles will consist of one food service unit, a bar unit, one restroom unit, one dry storage unit, and one freezer unit.”

The application states: “This temporary use is being sought to allow for immediate economic use of the property and to provide food, entertainment and beverage service on the south end of the island where those services are currently very limited. The intent is to obtain Town approval, make necessary improvements, and begin operations within a few weeks. It should be noted that the applicant is also seeking a Development Agreement for interim commercial uses including a mobile restaurant, a tiki structure and a commercial parking lot. This application remains active and under review. The intent is to obtain DA approval, conduct all required permitting and construct improvements prior to the 2027 season.”

The Wyndham was totally destroyed by Hurricane Ian in September of 2022.

The plan that was submitted back in November 2025 includes a 7,200 square foot tiki hut with outdoor seating, about 18,000 square feet for a mobile restaurant/bar concept with up to 9 trailers, live entertainment, a paid parking lot with 58 of 260 spots set aside for restaurant customers, and a recreational area on the beach.
