A milestone moment for the extended Abel family this past weekend as Jacob Abel took the green flag in the 110th Running of the Indianapolis 500 under Abel Motorsports.

Competing on one of the biggest stages in motorsports reflects the same qualities we value in construction every day: preparation, precision, resilience, and the ability to perform under pressure. Jacob represented the Abel Motorsports team with determination throughout an incredibly competitive field, finishing 24th in one of racing’s most historic events.

Everyone at GCG is proud to celebrate this accomplishment alongside the entire Abel family. Congratulations to Jacob and the entire Abel Motorsports team on an unforgettable achievement at Indianapolis.

As we build for the future, we take a moment to honor those who sacrificed everything to protect it. We remember. We are grateful. Their courage continues to shape the foundation of our communities and the values we stand on every day.

We remain committed to building with purpose, integrity and respect for that legacy.

Earlier this month, the GCG team joined partners and project collaborators to celebrate the grand opening of Ideal Nutrition .

It was a great opportunity to step back, see the finished space fully operational, and recognize the teamwork that helped bring the project together from concept to completion. We’re proud to have played a role in delivering a space that will now serve the Estero community for years to come.

Thank you to everyone involved in making the project and the celebration a success.

A different perspective of Arborwood as the project continues moving steadily toward completion. From above, the scale and symmetry of the structure really begin to stand out, with exterior progress and site preparation bringing the full vision into clearer focus.

As finishing work continues across the building, the project is entering the stage where months of coordination, planning, and construction start to come together in a visible way. The momentum on site continues to build, and the transformation over the last few months has been exciting to see unfold.

Sanctuary Golf & Social Club continues to move into its next phase of construction as major infrastructure work gives way to active buildout throughout the space.

With plumbing trenches now poured back, the project is transitioning deeper into framing and MEP rough-ins as multiple systems begin taking shape simultaneously behind the walls and above the ceilings.

This stage of construction is where coordination becomes critical. Framing layouts, mechanical systems, electrical pathways and plumbing infrastructure all have to align with precision long before the finished space ever comes into view.

What began as demolition and groundwork is now evolving into a fully defined environment, bringing the vision for this golf and social destination one step closer to reality.

Work is underway at MarineMax Venice as GCG begins electrical infrastructure upgrades across the marina dock system.
The scope includes removing existing electrical pedestals and installing new elevated pedestals designed to support the future seawall raise while improving long term resilience and functionality throughout the marina.

Crews are currently completing work on D Dock before transitioning to A Dock next week, with pedestal installation expected to wrap by the end of May and final asphalt restoration to follow in early June.

Projects in active marina environments demand precise coordination, phased ex*****on, and the ability to plan beyond immediate construction needs. This upgrade is designed not just for today’s operations, but for the next phase of the marina’s future development.

Arborwood is starting to look like the finished product, with the shift into final details now well underway. Stucco is nearly wrapped, and exterior finishes like architectural elements and painting are beginning to bring the building’s character into focus. Inside, the pace hasn’t slowed, with electrical work continuing as fire sprinklers and plumbing reach the finish line.

Over the next month, the majority of the building will come together, with work gradually extending beyond the structure and into the surrounding site. With the parking lot and sitework on the horizon, everything is lining up for a June completion, and the progress on site reflects that steady push toward the finish.

It’s a stage where all the moving parts begin to align and the vision becomes tangible, and we’re looking forward to seeing it all come together in the weeks ahead.

The month of May marks the start of one of the most demanding stretches in racing.

The Indianapolis 500 demands performance at the highest level, beginning with a highly competitive qualifying process.

Jacob Abel will take part in qualifying this May with Abel Motorsports, reflecting the progression of a four car INDY NXT program built around disciplined development and sustained growth.

As part of the Abel family, GCG is proud to cheer on this effort and support a program committed to advancing a long term vision.

The work at Sanctuary Golf and Social Club has moved beyond early groundwork and into active buildout.

Underground sanitary lines are now complete, marking a key milestone in the project’s infrastructure. Overhead, ductwork is no longer being staged, it is actively being installed, turning planning into real systems throughout the space.

With demolition now behind the team, the project is entering vertical construction. Wall framing is up next, where the layout begins to take physical form and the structure becomes clearly defined.

This is the stage where progress becomes visible. What started below the surface is now moving upward, bringing the full scope of the project into view.
